Thirteenth Annual Attunement Guild Gathering
Friends from Australia, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, the U.S. and other places around the world are getting ready to meet at the beautiful Glen Ivy Center in Corona, California. There, we’ll have three precious days to spend in attunement, communion, intentional toning and myriad forms of artistry. Creative juices are flowing as we listen to Spirit through ourselves and through each other in every moment leading up to the gathering. Attunement Practitioners gathering in Ensenada, Mexico by Leandro & Maria
This longing was fulfilled in Ensenada, March 21-23, when our tenth attunement practitioners’ gathering was graced with the presence of Paul Price and his wonderful wife Nancy Rathlou from Toronto, Canada, who joined us and 17 Spanish-speaking attunement practitioners. It was indeed a very special time considering the confluence of several larger cycles that were occurring: Friday the 21st was the full moon, Saturday the 22nd, the Spring Equinox and Sunday the 23rd Easter. There was a lot of movement in the planetary and world cycles! We were delightedly aware of the significance of the time as we gathered, and we used our time to consciously extend a blessing to all of the factors, known and unknown. The gathering took place on the third floor of the beautiful home of the Lucero family, who built this particular space exclusively for spiritual events: a great room painted blue with a balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Climbing the steps to go higher was like climbing to heaven and we were in heaven! We had a marvelous time with Paul sharing the themes that are currently moving in his consciousness: The consciousness of the practitioner and the phoenix (representing a new cycle of higher consciousness) rising out of the old ashes. Paul also shared his experience of working with different physical imbalances in his Attunement practice. He spoke of the significant networking that is happening amongst different spiritual movements and how we all play an important part in it. The message was very clear: “You are love: you are needed and you are loved.” Nancy set a sacred, joyful atmosphere through inviting us to chant together. She sang some of her songs, which those of us who have heard them, know can evoke a prayerful tone. Maria translated the “Blessing Song” by Martín Exeter into Spanish, and when Nancy sang it, the hearts and minds of all of us joined in a collective prayer of gratitude. It was awesome! Sunday we gathered to celebrate Life and the Resurrection of Consciousness together with a group of about 40 friends. We followed with a powerful attunement circle guided by Andres Lucero, who is a spiritual leader for a group of young people. Kathy Gutierrez, our beautiful friend and also a true loving spiritual leader in Ensenada, organized this event together with the Lucero family. Meals were provided by each one of the participants bringing an offering for this particular feast. We were enfolded in the sweet and joyful care of Brenda and Norma, 22 and 20 years old, who surrounded us with their love by providing snacks during our time together. We are so grateful that Paul and Nancy could be with us and bring their rich blessings. Dreams come true when our hearts are open to let God be God through us!! RE-SETTING MY INTENT CREATES A HOLY-DAY By Jonathan MacIntyre Attunement Practitioner & Teacher - The Riverdell Spiritual Centre, Hillier, South Australia. How are you at seeing the forest from among the trees, the stars through the clouds, or recognizing the dark space under the base of a candle where the light doesn’t shine? I have had a potent experience of this the last while; a valuable lesson in recognizing how my attachment to certain ideas around a holiday/holy-day was blocking the manifestation of the very conditions I wished for! No matter how Spiritual I think I am, or how much in alignment with Source, there are moments when getting out of my woods to see the forest, or climbing a mountain to rise above my clouds, or simply lifting up my candle and looking at the base is THE thing to do. And, it needs to happen for me at all levels - Spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. My process definitely got stuck at the physical level this last while!! My wife Rosemary and I have just returned from 4 weeks in Western Australia, enjoying some holiday and holy-day time and teaching a Sacred Radiance 3 weekend there as well. We decided to drive - a three day adventure in itself - so that tog e t he r we could enjoy this vast country, visit loved ones, journey down south (of Perth) for some simple by-the-beach caravanning and quiet time, and to then teach our attunement course before returning home. I was conscious that this was a time for me to come away from my physical home base with family and friends, work, etc., and to gaze on my metaphorical forest, check out the stars, and see what was on the base of my candle. I had been looking forward to the whole opportunity for quite some time and our/my intent was to see some family and friends in Perth as we’d planned, then find a quiet southerly beach spot at which to “veg out”, letting go of things for a while. Having seen those we had wanted to in the first week there, we loaded up the pop-top van (generously loaned to us by Ruth Barrett-Lennard) and began our journey driving south in the fairly abundant eastern Australian bush. “At last some R & R time” I thought as off we zoomed! Not too far along the way, Rosemary commented to me about my poor attitude and my rather vocal discrimination toward those on the road in front of me who were going too slow for my liking, especially in my keenness to get where we were likely to “set up camp” and “veg out”. At the time I wasn’t happy about those who would keep me from it one second longer than was necessary.....didn’t they realize I was on a mission of mercy for me, R & R, stars, a forest awaited!!?? I hadn’t recognized that although I’d supposedly left that physical space a week before; my consciousness was not coming out of it. I had a fixed sense that until I was installed on a beach somewhere, I wasn’t out of the forest; I had more mountains to climb! It took a while to reset my intent and sure enough, the actions that followed allowed the consequences, the manifestation of a holy-day atmosphere, to actually be energizing and nourishing, rather than gruff, judgmental and stormy as it had begun. My own Attunement really started! A great lesson – no matter where I am, the clarity of my intent, my actions and the ensuing consequences prove out the quality of my alignment, my being in tune with God. Speaking of consequences, it was interesting to me that when we arrived back at Ruth Barrett-Lennard’s home some one(s) attempted to siphon fuel out of our petrol tank during the night – a fact made obvious by seeing my petrol cap lying on the lawn by the car next morning. Was it linked to my own lowly atmosphere on the road, which brought back this kind of response, this consequence? It certainly has given me pause for thought and helped sharpen my vigilance around my intent! The Creative Dynamics of Light and Sound — Make a Joyful Noise - Anthony Palombo
Carrier wave for Spirit We are made of light and sound. Light is spirit and sound a carrier wave for its creative expression. In light are the vibrational frequencies that determine the intricate designs made manifest in the natural world. In sound are the energy pulses and waves upon which spirit is carried and by which molecules are moved to give form to those intricate designs of spirit. Thus is the world created by light and sound. In the story of Creation as recorded for us in the Book of Genesis, we have the spirit of the Creator moving out upon the face of the waters of the deep void of space and speaking the word that carried the command: "Let there be Light." Out of light and sound is all else made, including our physical bodies, minds and hearts. A tool to facilitate attunement Sound, then, is a tool for creation. Not just any sound. Sound that carries a tone and a wave form that is coherent and pure. We call that "music"— the "music of the spheres." Such music arises out of silence and stillness.
At a core level, we are already whole and complete. The frequencies of the Spirit of Love, as reflected in the rainbow of the light spectrum and in the seven notes of the musical octave, are already present and inherent in the Tone that is sounding in all of creation, including our flesh, maintaining its existence and function. The physical body will reflect that wholeness to the extent there is attunement with spirit at the core of one's Being. In Being are all the qualities and characteristics needed for life and healthy function in our physical bodies. So, wholeness, health, already is . If there is a lack of the experience of health in the physical body-mind and heart, it may well be due to a lack of attunement between the perfection of Being and the physical form. The outer form knows health and wholeness when the qualities and characteristics of inner Being are actually expressed in one's living, and two of the chief qualities of Being are thankfulness and appreciation : "In all things give thanks." It is music to the ear to hear someone express thankfulness. A chief characteristic of Being is forgiveness — the instantaneous release of whatever would bind you to another person's hurtful expression and behavior, or bind them to you. If something is upsetting you, give thanks and then let it go! Such expression clears your substance of any and all distortion so that the unfettered expression of the perfection of spirit can come on through. For that expression to be accurate, there needs to be plenty of this connecting substance of pneumaplasm present between spirit and form. Musical sound, such as chanting and toning, is very generative of this substance. With enough of this silvery substance in place, spirit has a means of healing the body and thereby revealing the perfection of Being in and through the Human form, creating in the flow a whole human being. In summary, then, healing is not our first concern. That is the domain of spirit. Our first concern is the generation of substance through which spirit may move, and even that is done by spirit. We may simply facilitate the process. Music, sacred sound, is a tool to facilitate that movement of spirit, especially when the person receiving the attunement is invited to participate. It isn't, therefore, the sound that offers healing to the body, but the spirit moving upon the surface of the sound waves. Spirit brings the information and instruction the cells need to carry out their various roles in the body. That information is held sacred and intact in the ray of light emanating from the core of Being. Pneumaplasm is the medium for the transference of those messages and instructions. A person who aspires to share attunement with love is rightly concerned to live a life that manifests and reveals the light of spirit. Such a person may be described as an emissary of light divine, bringing the beautiful and joyful Tone of love into one's world for all to resonate with and attune to in their living. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands," sings the psalmist. When the dynamics of light and sound are allowed to work in harmony with one another, the "noise" they make is a joyful and uplifting one. Right Use of Power class, February 15 -17, 2008
It seemed ambitious to have both the 4-hour beginner training and the 6-hour more advanced trainings on the same weekend, but facilitator Joyce Ellenbecker of Glen Ivy in California made it light, practical and deeply nourishing. Rather than a list of “Thou shalt not” rules, we looked at the many roles in our lives, being more conscious of how any role might be perceived, “tracking” impact as sometimes different from intent, and self-care. The time was rich in laughter and deep insights. When done, we found we had built a closer attunement community in the process. Barb Duff
“Module I – Attunement with Life” February 12-17, 2008
On the seventeenth of February, we concluded the Module I “Attunement with Life” class in Spanish at Glen Ivy. We had a wonderful, blissful week with six participants from Ensenada and Tijuana, aged 19-28. These refreshing young people brought to the class their authenticity, openness, courage, playfulness and eagerness to explore and heal some of the barriers to walking the path of Attunement. We love facilitating these classes and providing space where spiritual transformation can be realized. We could call these classes “transformation through identification with True Source”. For this to happen, it is necessary to allow our minds and ways of thinking to be renewed by the Spirit of God. The love and blessings that we share in Attunement allow us and everyone involved to come to the place of acceptance and of welcoming what is present, and something shifts within ourselves. We are made new. In all our classes we use, among other materials, silent meditation, the 7 Steps to the Temple of Light and the practice of Sanctification and Forgiveness. Over and over again we are amazed at how these simple but powerful tools bring deep insights and healing not only for the individual, but also for the group and consequently for the world. Araceli, one of the participants shared how she was practicing the third step to the Temple of Light - Realization: “Every morning when I wake up and I see that I have a new day before me, that I am alive, that I am complete with all my faculties and I express gratitude for every little detail that is present in my life, that is when I feel truly realized as a divine being.” Norma referred to the Spirit of Love in this way: “The spirit of Love can be found everywhere. The Universe is filled with love and it is a wonder. Love does not have temperature or color and we find it in its maximum expression even in the most frigid and far away places…this love is within me and is within you.” Astar said: “I learnt that I have all the potential within me to be the one I was created to be, I just need to polish it.” Suzzette said: “I realized here that within me I have the strength to accomplish what is mine to do and that I am very intelligent, that I am worthy of the love of God and others and that I am destined to be successful.”
These friends, this new generation of young people is awake, and we are so proud and so confident in this kind of leader: people eager to walk the path of love no matter what is around and no matter how the world looks, because they see possibilities and they are ready to set a tone in their own lives and to let their radiant lights shine in their worlds. It was a great joy to share the love and the way of attunement with these young brothers and sisters. We are very grateful to all of you for your support. A New World Order - Chris Jorgensen ( Article reprinted with permission from IAAP newsletter, The Unified Field )
The world is changing for me. I suspect it is changing for you and everyone else who lives on Planet Earth. People are becoming increasingly conscious of the fact that the way we individually and collectively live on and view this planet is critical. Global awareness is increasingly present because of the electronic media and/or movies like An Inconvenient Truth. There are so many social, economic and political dimensions and perspectives to this impending change. The communications airways are filled with an unprecedent amount of words seeking conformity to my view. What is Life's view? Life is change. I am urged to transform my living and to release the assumptions humanity has had for thousands of years. My perception is that one world/era (former paradigm) is passing and a new world/era (new paradigm) is being birthed. Historically people found it difficult to recognize the moment of passing from one era into another unless the new beginning coincided with the birth of a country or some other obvious and notable event. The shift unfolding now is hard for most to understand because it is energetic or vibrational in nature. The change requires a new world view - one that not only includes new ways of looking at history, but also at human beings and their place in the world. When I sit quietly each morning during the long-distance radiation time (8 a.m. Central), I know that I am helping to midwife the birth of a new world pattern. In this unique moment of time, as humanity and the world transitions between eras, the world is fraught with uncertainty and people don't know for sure what is objectively out there anymore. I do; and I suspect you do also. To me the morning radiation time is a prayer of thanksgiving to all who hold this Earth in sacredness, as well as an appreciation for its many life forms - from the animal, to the plant, to the virus - which so beautifully clothe the surface of our planetary home. However, beyond thanksgiving, the morning radiation time and any other Attunement opportunity provides me with a specific avenue through which I may participate in releasing new lines of force, creating a new world energetic/pneumaplasmic pattern around which a new world is forming. So my word is to share Attunement in whatever way works for each one of us, participating in fulfilling our cosmic destiny and to assist in creating a new world order.
Essences from the class Attunement with Love - Leandro Castro & Maria Franco
Warm and happy greetings to all of you!
It was delightful for us to facilitate this experience of spiritual transformation not only for the participants but also for ourselves. We are so aware that a lot of our own growth happens because we share what we love. I was remembering a story about somebody who went to Ecuador to “civilize” the indigenous people of a particular tribe. When he arrived there, the chief of the tribe welcomed him and said: “If you are coming to help us, you are wasting your time. You can go home now. But if you came because your own growth depends on helping us, let’s begin the work”. We need one another on our respective journeys back home, and this time, there was indeed an expansion of our consciousness in relation to deepening our attunement with the Creator. We were amazed by the steadiness and commitment of this particular grouping of friends; they would arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for every single session – which is a bit unusual in our culture! They were eager to learn how to apply the principles of Attunement as a way of life in their day-to-day lives, which is what Attunement is really about. It was a wonderful experience to be with a group like this, where the intimacy and communion became the unified radiation that went out into the world as a blessing.
Elizabeth: Probably the most valuable thing in this training for me was the healing of unworthiness I had within my heart. Now I am able to embrace myself with love in the attunement current that heals everything. I learned to love myself just the way I am without any complaints. Regardless of what comes up in my life I know now that I can continue letting this wonderful love and this positive energy that is within me flow into my world. Herminia: This training taught me that I am a worthy daughter of God, that I am valuable and unique. I commit myself to continue generating quality pneumaplasm. I learned to love myself and therefore I feel more confident. I am a different person. I am very happy because I can share the blessings of Attunement with the people in my world. It is my intent to walk life in this way. I am also noticing that the friendships I cultivate now have changed. And this began from my experience in the first class and this is a wonderful proof of the kind of pneumaplasm I am generating. Norma Alicia Rojas: My motivation to become an Attunement Practitioner was to explore the physical healing and wellbeing that I could share through my hands, because somehow I knew the technique, but I discovered here that Attunement is not a technique. It is a way of being. I found beautiful things within myself that have been there all the time but that I had not noticed before…with Attunement I can express and share the essence of love, of who I am, and I can plant seeds …of love in my world…. Soledad Jimenez: As an Attunement Practitioner I was reminded that I am a divine being; that I am intelligent, loving and that there is a great potential within me that I can share with the world. I learned to value and forgive myself…when I share attunements I say a prayer that I would like to share with you: “Thy will be done and not mine, oh God. May I be a joyful channel today to those whom I touch…Use me, Oh Lord, because I am here to follow Thee. Thank you Father. We want to express our gratitude to all of you for being with us during this time of spiritual transformation and blessing. Your beautiful presence was strongly felt and we rejoice in being part of this network of friends committed to making a difference in the world. All of this in honor of the Great One we all serve. A special time at Gracewood - Tony Palombo
My time with Paul – in what may be characterized as “an intensive without agenda”– was both refreshing personally and fruitful relative to our shared field of service. Just to have Paul’s virtually undivided presence for an entire week, mutually sharing our personal and professional lives, was more than worth the trip. Our early morning attunements invariably opened up space for topics to emerge for exploration during the rest of the day, which we spent in varied depths of conversation, focusing primarily on the practitioner’s consciousness. Excerpts from Uranda’s The Triune Ray provided excellent points of departure into more core essences of attunement, with particular attention to “Radiation Six, The Mystery of Love Unveiled,” as well as some earlier writings dating back to 1936. Paul brought clearly to the fore, during our conversations and while exchanging attunement with each other, a vivid conceptualization of the “figure 8" dynamic within which we work in our attunement service. The practitioner, standing at the crossover point, receives without judgment the troubled essences that arise from the earth below, drawn by love, to be brought into the flow of the upward-bound currents. There, in the finer vibrations, they can be healed and transmuted by the Spirit of Love, a spirit which we are privileged to focus but not to originate, before being sent out as specific blessings to the human capacities of body, mind and heart. We, as practitioners, are privileged to extend these healing currents through our hearts and hands. This, for me, is one of the core essences of the attunement service I offer to those in my world, including my own very personal and precious human form. I cannot jump over this form and truly serve others. Care for my own form has become a priority for me, especially in my elder years. Another core essence was articulated in the form of a question that surfaced: “What am I doing to provide space and opportunity for the one with whom I am sharing attunement to know who they are and to experience their own angelic presence?” To do this, even for thirty minutes, is to offer a great blessing to a fellow human being. Over my last weekend at Gracewood, I was given a golden opportunity to share some gifts that have emerged through my work with sacred sound. Paul and Nancy brought together some twenty of their friends for a three-hour sound and attunement intensive. What a delight that was! The response and quality of participation were superb, and it was especially enriching to meet their friends, angels all. I was particularly thankful for Jude Repar’s uplifting presence and invaluable contributions. I was reminded of the Attunement Guild gathering in California last May, where we engaged in exploring the field of sacred sound together, and I am looking forward to more of the same, and then some, during our 2008 Gathering at Glen Ivy in April.
These are some of the essences and details of my special time with Paul doing what we both love most: just being together and sharing attunement in the current of life’s spirit of love and appreciation. I encourage anyone and everyone to take some time for yourself – for your own nourishment – to enjoy a visit with these wonderful and generous souls. I know that Paul and Nancy take much pleasure and nourishment playing host and hostess to their friends. Thank you both for being at Gracewood, and especially for a lovely, relaxing and deeply healing time of replenishment at what I now know as my home away from home, a place which truly is ‘graced’ by those who bring their joy-filled presence.
Twelfth Annual Attunement Guild Gathering
The essences of many cultures blended together in the rich current of Attunement during the annual events held at the Glen Ivy Center near Corona, California, May 17-20. For four precious days, friends new and old - from Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United States, and joined by European and South African friends for our annual general meeting - celebrated the spirit and practice of Attunement, and the joy of being with each other. Twenty of us began with a day of teachers’ sessions, sharing our recent and current experiences teaching and mentoring in Attunement classes and intensives, and exploring new frontiers and possible next steps. Laurence Layne led a discussion of how we might use his recently published anatomy book for attunement practitioners. We co-created a new vision for the stewarding of our Guild, using an expanded leadership model, with a Leadership Group of five, plus several project-related advisors (newsletters, website, Trustee liaison, etc.) and/or regional advisors (representing Australia, Europe, Latin America, South Africa and the United States). From the evening of May 17th through lunch on the 20th, the Steering Committee of Judie Diamond, Jean Martens, Joyce Ellenbecker and Paul Price guided us through a magical time in sacred space, where we were bathed in a spirit of welcome, nourishment, and creativity. Louise Broomberg, who was on the outgoing leadership team, was not able to be with us in person, but added her vibrant voice and spirit in numerous ways. She will continue her contributions to the Guild as newsletter editor and wisdom-provider!
Our beloved Paul Price spoke of a “cathedral consciousness,” inviting us to consider how we view the spaces into which we invite others - do we welcome people into little rooms or into mansions? Do we invite them for repair or for regeneration? Paul related the story of the Wright brothers, who had the amazing idea of flying and invented the first airplane back in 1903, and he reminded us how people have taken that idea and “flown” with it to arrive at the current technology present in our skies. He put forward an invitation for us to do the same with Attunement, to expand our awareness from what we have known thus far into ever-greater heights and scope. Jonathan MacIntyre brought the spirit of innovation into the room, as he led us through a newly created process of sharing attunement with the world using the spirits of the seven endocrine glands and the seven steps to the temple of light. In breakout sessions, we had the opportunity to practice different Attunement techniques: Long Bone (Paul Price), Nervous System (Laurence Layne), Endocrine-Chakra (Judie Diamond), and Hand Attunements (Jean Martens), and to consider the use of attunement in emergency situations (Paul Price). We also had a powerful session (and some stayed on for a full workshop) with Tony Palombo, exploring Sacred Sound and Attunement (see separate article). At an evening “Coffee House,” people shared their amazing talents through video, music, art and poetry - the atmosphere was filled with beauty, joy and abundant laughter. On Saturday, Barb and Hugh Duff led us in sharing attunements. Our Annual General meeting and Teleconference brought many friends into our midst as we voiced our most memorable essences of the time together thus far, and selected our leadership team for the coming year. They are: Judie Diamond, Joyce Ellenbecker, Jonathan MacIntyre, Paul Price and Carol Robertson. We appreciate, bless and wholeheartedly support them in their leadership roles. We acknowledge many who have contributed over the past year, particularly Jean Martens and Louise Broomberg, and welcome their continuing participation. Our closing time on Sunday took the form of an uplifting worship service offered by Leandro Castro, Joyce Ellenbecker, Alicia Alvarez and Paul Price. I am feeling immensely grateful for the opportunity we had to welcome this gathering here in Glen Ivy. Attunement with Sacred Sound
Sound has always been considered a direct link between humankind and the divine. The ancient mystery schools all taught their students the use of sound as a creative and healing force. It is considered the oldest form of healing, and it was a predominant part of the early teachings of the Greeks, Chinese, East Indians, Tibetans, Egyptians, American Indians, Mayas, and the Aztecs. There was a time when healing, song and storytelling went hand in hand.

Momentum is building toward our annual Attunement Guild gathering in April!! 
We are always between two generations, one that teaches us and one that learns from us. This is a dynamic that is always in flux. In our Attunement classes, we bring forward the spirit and words of the Attunement mentors who shared with us the sacred art of what they loved and lived by. Some of these mentors are: Roger De Winton, Jim Wellemeyer, Chris Jorgensen and Paul Price. We have always held in our hearts the longing that one day, at least some of them would have the opportunity to meet and spend time with the Spanish-speaking attunement practitioners from our classes.
Leandro spoke about true resurrection and how this happens every moment we that choose love, peace and forgiveness. We shared a mandala-attunement with the city of Ensenada, represented by the Lucero family –Godofredo, Esther, Andres, Brenda and Norma.
(NB. For the purposes of interpreting this story, my definition of a holy-day is letting go of as much of my usual day to day responsibilities as possible in order to focus on attuning and communing with essences of the One Great Spirit)
My angel of a wife’s few words to me about my “driving atmosphere” were most effective – Rosie simply re - minded me that the first step to the Temple of Light was PATIENCE. In short, it was from the point of accepting her reminder that my realizations grew - about how small I’d kept some of my holiday intent; how literal my idea of R & R had become, how my behavior and my actions were really damning the fact that we were already on holidays; I was out of the trees, the stars were on show and had been for some time; the seaside form of it would be there in good time; no one else was to blame for it not happening quickly enough; and of course, good to notice what an unholy-day atmosphere I’d been immersing my wife and myself in, let alone others - yeeeooowch - what creative consequences can come from that!?
Musical sound is being used extensively and increasingly in the healing arts. It may be used effectively with attunement. Our use of sound in attunement is not so much to heal our physical ills as it is to generate the rarified spiritual substance (pneumaplasm) that connects spirit and form, so that spirit has a means of entering and managing the world of physical form. This is the medium for the propagation of the Tone through which love comes forth out of heaven to touch the earth of our flesh — or, perhaps more accurately, how flesh rises to touch heaven, spiritualized by the movement of the Spirit of Love through it. When flesh is touched by love, it is made whole, transformed, and uplifted. 
One of the requirements for attunement training is Right Use of Power training, a type of ethics that has been developed by Cedar Barstow specifically for the healing professions. So thirteen attunement students plus seven who are teachers or practitioners gathered at Edenvale Feb. 15th to 17th.

We also consider very important in our classes to talk about emotions and feelings that come up in all of us, and how we can encompass them in the current of Attunement where everything is welcomed. In this particular class we introduced for the first time the 5 rhythms associated with the feelings of grief, anger, sadness, joy and compassion. Besides having a lot of fun allowing the beautiful energy of our bodies to express in the dancing of them, the participants were able to experience a creative way to release the charge of some of these emotions and allow for the natural joy and compassion that are our true essence to more vibrantly emerge. 
Chris Jorgensen, founding president and current treasurer of the International Association of Attunement Practitioners (IAAP), will be a guest presenter at the next Attunement Guild Gathering, in April 2008. Chris is the author of a number of books on Attunement. He and his wife, Donna, live in Kansas City, Missouri, where he has a natural healing and energy practice, Heartland Attunmenent, Inc.
On November 18, after an amazing journey of over a year, we completed the cycle of training for Attunement Practitioners with the Module III “Attunement con el Amor.” It was with great joy and thankfulness that we welcomed to our circle four beautiful and proud Mexican practitioners: Soledad Jimenez, Herminia Cerecer, Norma Alicia Rojas and Elizabeth Rojas. During the class, we had the wonderful presence of Godofredo Lucero, who took one week off from his busy schedule to assist us.
We would like to share some of the essences that the participants conveyed during and after the classes:
Following a compulsion I’ve had for several years, I traveled to Ontario, Canada to spend some time with Paul Price and Nancy Rathlou. Their spacious, comfortable home, aptly dubbed ‘Gracewood,’ provided a beautiful and peaceful setting in which Paul and I could immerse ourselves in attunement considerations. Gracewood’s elegant, verdant landscape is surrounded on all sides by dense yet accessible woods, with a dual level fish pond set like a jewel in the side yard adjacent to the attunement sanctuary - a perfect place for meditation. 
Our love of being together occasionally manifested in more tangible ways as we did chores around Gracewood – washing and painting a sizable portion of the lengthy white fence that borders the property, playing with Wilson, a sweet and easy-going Golden Retriever, preparing the salt water pool for the winter months ahead, and doing a little grocery shopping - not to mention fixing breakfast every morning, with Paul manning the skillet for some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever enjoyed.
We sanctified the beginnings of our days by bringing the Seven Spirits alive through sharing attunements. During sessions, attunements were shared in twos, threes, and larger configurations; dialogue alternated with silence; movement complemented stillness. Through her beautiful voice and guitar-playing, Nancy Rathlou brought the depth and passion of her original music and lyrics into the container. David Washington played keyboards periodically, allowing the attunement current to inspire the music of the moment, and vice-versa.
