Attunement Guild News
Weekly Middle East Radiant Blessing Opportunity by Jeff Goldstein. This is time to hold sacred space around the Middle East, allowing the restoration of sacred atmosphere. For many years now, I have been focusing a radiant gathering for the Middle East each Sunday evening at 10 p.m. Jerusalem time. People from at least 15 countries have been holding the spiritual atmosphere for at least 20 to 30 minutes each week. We hold sacred energy in our hands and imagining the different countries, their people, cultures and landmass. No matter where you are on the planet you can join us by simply creating an energy ball in your hands and envisioning and then placing the Middle East within it. How this is done I will try to explain: when we create an energy ball in our hands we enter into the world of spiritual energy. This spiritual energy does not function by physical dimension, because of this the distance between us becomes unimportant. The radiant energy is easily transformed to individuals and countries through consciousness. As many individuals send out his sacred energy it joins together to create an energy pool for the Middle East. I have the privilege to focus this sacred time for the Middle East. During this radiation time, I first connect with this pool of sacred energy that may from around the world are sending to the middle East. Then I connect to the earth below Jerusalem, where I live, and I connect this powerful spiritual energy (that Jerusalem focuses), into this sacred pool of energy. Then I envision a sacred circle surrounding the globe with those that are participating and others who are constantly holding sacred light energy. Then, I consciously welcome in the areas around me starting with the closer areas, parts of Jerusalem and the West Bank and Israel, and then I welcome in the countries of the Middle East, one by one. Many human beings have lost spiritual guidance and are in need of a reminder, so this spiritual atmosphere that we are creating has the opportunity to help. ROOMS IN THE MANSION - ATTUNEMENT IN GUATEMALA – Andrew Shier 
A recent trip took me to Guatemala in the month of June. My host, Deborah Chandler, invited me down to share Attunements with her immediate family and also with the Mayan weavers with whom she works. Deborah is director of a non profit, Mayan Hands, which assists the Mayan weavers in selling their products in this country and abroad. She was a client of mine when I lived in Colorado and a lover of Attunement. I landed in a country that a week prior had been devastated by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Pacaya, coupled with the torrential rain from tropical storm Agatha. Previous plans to visit the country side, meet many of the weavers, and share Attunements were halted due to washed out roads. Home base was Guatemala City, population of 2.5 million people. Political corruption, crime, and drugs are at high levels in this picturesque country. I heard many a horrendous story of tragedy and loss due to these influences. And yet, here I was, on the scene to share Attunements with Deborah’s close in family and friends. I have to say that I felt totally at home in myself juxtaposed to an external setting in chaos and some ruin. Something landed in me of a new experience of Love as I wrapped my pneumaplasmic arms around the people who came to share Attunement. Session upon session, I realized I was having that experience spoken of about the Master Jesus when he was reported to have said that he felt the virtue flow out from him when a particular woman from out of a crowd touched the hem of his garment. I felt to be in a “room of the mansion”, so to speak, which allowed me to meet these people in their hearts – the Guatemalan heart; so deep, open and resilient in its giving ness. To write this article is somewhat challenging because words don’t seem adequate to convey the language of Love that flows in the realm of Heart. I am sure more will be revealed in time. 
The shared current of our Attunements traveled quickly and soon others appeared who wished to share in this experience as well. However, time and energy were limited because a request was made that before I leave several wished to convene a mini Attunement class. Those with whom I had been sharing Attunements wanted to more fully understand what they were experiencing and how to continue in that after I returned to the US. Working through the expert translating efforts of Deborah and Tere, we had a lively and deep sharing on several topics: Attunement as a way of life, health versus curing, the dying process, forgiveness, and how to manage your energy in daily situations. Also the role of emotions and psychological impacts on physical well being stirred deeper insights into viewing the human body and condition from a perspective of wholeness. In a country with one seeming hardship after the other, both in personal lives and socially throughout the country due to the political inequities, I at no point encountered a spirit of victimization. I met people whose hearts had remained open throughout and a willingness to allow me entry into them in trust, affection and loyalty. I am changed by this time in Guatemala because I know more fully God’s Presence in yet another room in this mansion we sometimes refer to as The All That Is. To those of us in the Attunement Community, when we share Attunements with another, we no doubt feel the presence of the equivalence of “crime, political corruption, and drug addiction” that dwell in the field and body. And yet, in the midst there is this Heart of God opening, opening, and opening to reveal the presence of Health and Wholeness.
"Attunement con la Vida,” Module I, Ensenada, Mexico – June 12-15, 2010 by Leandro Castro & Maria Franco  Last week we were watching the movie “Invictus” about Nelson Mandela’s life, and something that stayed with us was his determination to lead by example. Sometimes we do not remember the power of our presence in the world. June 12-15, Maria and I were in Ensenada offering another Module I “Attunement with Life” class. This was the second Module I that has taken place there recently, because of the Lucero family’s love for attunement. They brought together 18 people, offering their home for the class. Esther, Godofredo and Andres were assisting us the whole time; Brenda and Norma were serving all the meals. At some point in the middle of the four-day class cycle, Esther mentioned that she was feeling a bit overwhelmed about having to begin the day preparing the supplies for breakfast. We suggested that it might be good to invite people to have breakfast in their own homes before the class. Esther replied that she could not do that because she and her family wanted to offer the class participants the same treatment they have received at Glen Ivy! Glen Ivy is the home and inspiration for many Latin American friends. All of them have increased their level of consciousness and service to the world thanks to the example they witnessed there. About 15 attunement practitioners in Ensenada were meditating for 30 minutes every day before our class to prepare and sanctify the space and to welcome the participants to the class. Lupita Cabezas, Kathy & Mary Gutierrez were cooking some meals in their homes and bringing them to the Lucero’s home for the participants’ lunches. With this amazingly loving surround we started our class with friends from different parts of Mexico. Our container was so filled with love and care that the remembrance of our true home became a reality. In the magical Attunement current hearts opened to the love of God and joy was expressed through tears, dance and laughter. It was a full cycle with healing and beautiful insights. Here are some comments from our participants: 
Nancy (22 years old) “I realized that I was sleeping about 12 hours a day and I did not quite know why I was doing that. Now I know that I have been doing this because it’s a way “to be and not to be” in my home where the relationship with my grandmother is very stressful. From now on I am taking the resolution to face my challenges and not avoid them by going to sleep.” Asuncion (67 years old) “I have never felt this way before in my life. I commit myself to have a more loving relationship with my family. Yesterday when I arrived home, one of my nieces asked me: “Grandma where have you been? You look so different.” I realized that there is something within me that is beautiful and perfect and I can share it with others.” Eva (22 years old) “Today before I came to class, my mom told me that I was very valuable to her and that she loved me. She has never said that to me before. I even thought maybe she is going to die or so but now I know that something changed in me and this change also had an impact on her. I am very grateful for that.” We want to express our deep gratitude to all of you for your loving support and for the work you are doing in your world. Together we magnify the glory of God in this beautiful planet that we share.
Attunement with Truth in Ensenada, Mexico by Leandro Castro and Maria Franco
 The field of Attunement continues to grow and expand in Latin America. It is its nature to do so: this magnificent healing current is about allowing goodness and a deeper understanding of the truth of who we are to manifest in our lives. We arrived in Ensenada on Thursday May 6th. Together with eight of the Attunement Practitioners we prepared the space for the Circle of Attunement, which takes place every Thursday at 5:00 pm and is led by Andres, Godofredo & Esther Lucero. There were eighteen of us, old friends and new, each bringing their worlds to be blessed. One of the new participants shared with the group that that morning Soledad, one of the Attunement Practitioners had shared with her the last mailing about “what is the focus of your life now?” And that she realized that her focus was on death and not on life. “In that moment, she continued, “Something shifted inside of me.” After the attunement that she received during the blessing time she said that the day before she was thinking about committing suicide. Now, she said with tears in her eyes: “I have been born again.” Tremendous miracles happen in spaces charged with the love of God. We are so grateful for the gentle current of Attunement that brings to focus what is good in everyone. Also on Thursday morning the Lucero family and six of the Attunement Practitioners were invited by Jorge and Rebecca, two of the participants in the attunement classes that we are teaching, to offer an Attunement Circle in the University of Baja California. About 25 students attended. The Luceros shared that at the beginning of the circle the students were very sceptical about the whole thing, but little by little their faces and demeanors were transformed to the point that they wanted to learn more about what they experienced. And we are ready to go to Ensenada and offer another Module I “Attunement con la Vida” from June 12-15. These events were the perfect preparation for the teaching of the first part of the Module II “Attunement con la Verdad” to 11 participants. At the beginning of our time, we asked the question: what has changed in your life since we were together last time? One of the participants shared the following: One of the topics that we touched during the weekend was “Feedback” in the context of the Right Use of Power. Feedback is a very useful practice to deepen relationships and to assist us in our spiritual growth and evolution. In the field of Attunement, feedback is vital to keep a clear, safe and open atmosphere. After the presentation we had an exercise in which two people would share 3 positive feedbacks or appreciations of one another and one thing that they had noticed about the other person, which they could, if they wanted, transform or just become aware of. Here is comment from one of the participants: “I realized how fast my mind found justification when I was receiving feedback. I noticed also that I was not very willing to listen and yet after a while I found the piece of feedback very revealing. I just love what I am becoming aware of.” We feel so blessed and so privileged to participate in the process of awakening in us and our brothers and sisters! The longing of all of us is to be seen for who we are and not for who we are not! And yet it is when we become aware of what we are not that we are able to fully embrace the awesome beauty and magnificence of our true nature. To all of you we send our deep gratitude for your ongoing loving support. It is very exciting and fulfilling to be about something that we all love and that is so transformative and beneficial for all humankind. We celebrate the beauty of the One who brought us together.

Second part of Module I: “Attunement con la Vida” in Ensenada March 12 & 13 It was great to get together with them and feel their enthusiasm to continue growing and deepening their understanding of Attunement as a “Way of Life.” It was beautiful and auspicious to move in these two cycles with the energy of the spring season that so powerfully brings forth what is inside of the seeds planted in the former season. These two journeys were a perfect example of the seeds that brought these brothers and sisters to this point in their sacred lives. They were ready to go to the next level. We were ready to fly with them to our next level of evolution. I learned that I can see the past the way it is…”the past” and that I can live a fulfilled, free and joyous life in the now.” “I learned the value of getting in touch with my emotions. I was able to get closer to them and listen to their messages. This allowed me to get to know myself at a deeper level within an area that had been challenging for me to access.” “I know now that it is my choice to stop comparing, judging and beating myself up. I realized that I am doing the best I can and that is good enough….” “I became aware of how beautiful and perfect I am inside… I learned to appreciate and to be more in touch with myself.” “I came here because I wanted to grow. What I discovered in this class is that I have free will, that I am valuable, creative and that I am a daughter of God.” “This class made me realize that I am a woman with worth.” “I learned to be more honest with myself and others.” “I became aware of my own greatness and capabilities. I know now that I am closer to God that what I thought.” “I learned that I am important and that I have value for what I am and that I do not have to carry the burdens of guilt that don’t belong to me.” “I realized that I am responsible for all of my actions.” “I learned that I can express my feelings regardless of what other people think or say.” Thank you for all your loving support. It is a great joy to be sharing the path of Attunement that we all love in honor of the One we serve.

Class "Attunement with Life" in Ensenada, Baja California in Mexico - Leandro Castro & Maria Franco
Dear Friends: Warm greetings to you from sunny Glen Ivy! This amazing family is instrumental in spreading “the gospel” of Attunement as a Way of Life in Ensenada and for that we are deeply grateful, and honored to have been invited to offer the certification classes for people who do not have passports and are not able to come to Glen Ivy. Esther, Godofredo and their son Andres are attunement practitioners. They were assisting and supporting us throughout the weekend. They also have two daughters; Norma took care of our meals and snacks, and Brenda was a full participant in the class. On a rainy, stormy weekend 23 participants came, eager to learn the sacred art of attunement and to make changes in their lives. For most of the attendees, this was their first attunement training. It is wonderful to see how attunement reminds us of our true identity and our purpose: to let our light shine in the world. Even though the heavy rains continued, everybody arrived at 8:30 am to start the second day. The changes on their faces were palpable; evidence of how one day of attunement can make a huge difference in our lives. We considered the vital topics of Self Care and the Right Use of Power and enjoyed practicing more attunements whenever we could. It was a great weekend and as we know, we will see the flowers of these seeds very soon in every single deed that each one of us shares with our world. Heavenly blessings come through each one of us and we welcome and express them! Peace and blessings to all of you!!!
An Exciting New Venture by Marilyn Manderson, Kamloops, British Columbia.
Shortly I will be retiring from a lengthy career in Nursing and look forward to having more time to offer attunements. I have a feel to initiate an Attunement practice from my home to serve the area in which I live. I give deep thanks for the opportunity to have experienced a profession in the medical arena, and am profoundly grateful and excited to have the space and time in front of me to offer more specifically into this area of Attunement. The pure vibration of Love which is at the core of all people and the spiritual art of Attunement is at the forefront of this new adventure for me. It thrills me to welcome all who feel drawn to share in this sacred healing experience. I am thankful for the opportunity given to me initially, over thirty-five years ago, to consciously experience Attunement. There were individuals even then who knew that there would be others in their worlds seeking this particular experience. It is my responsibility and delight to share this gift with others in my world at this time and, I suspect, for years to come.
ANNOUNCEMENT TO GUILD MEMBERS Teleconference January 23, 2010
Dear Colleagues and Friends, We would like to thank all of you who joined us on the October call as well as those who wrote to us. Your input has been invaluable in exploring the direction and next steps for the Attunement Guild. Since the call the Leadership Group and Wisdom Circle have met via conference calls to expand our thinking. Jonathan sent the following quote from Eric Hoffer that has relevance to where we are now as an Attunement Guild: “In times of change learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.” What does the future look like to each of us individually and as a group / organization? What is the Guild’s relationship to our parent organization, EDL, now and in the future? Some of us within the Leadership Group are being called to step out and focus our energies in different ways. Who will step forward to lead the organization? What is happening with you, right now, in your personal field of attunement? It is our feeling that the current facts for each of us now will give us a good starting place to look at where we, as a Guild, might go next. We would greatly appreciate your input. This, along with your answers to the questions asked on our previous call, will be very helpful in setting the groundwork for our January call. Your input will, of course, be held in confidence. We look forward to our time together via the conference call January 23, 2010. We would also appreciate your sending any thoughts you may have ahead of time via email <jellenbecker@sbcglobal.net>. I used to react in an angry manner insulting the rooster and trying to continue sleeping to no avail. The change in my life is that now I am more aware of the rhythm of the day and when I hear the rooster in the morning I feel an invitation from him to participate in the new day.”
Module I: “Attunement con la Vida” held at Glen Ivy Center - March 2-7
We would like to share with you some of their fine expressions:
We want to share with you our first Latin American event in 2010, held in Baja California in Mexico. We offered the class “Attunement with Life” (the first of six weekends towards certification) on January 22-23 in the beautiful home of the Lucero Family. We met them here in Glen Ivy in 1996. Last year they finished a third floor to their home in Ensenada and dedicated this space to be used for spiritual classes. It was their dream.
We agreed to practice the first step to Uranda’s “Temple of Light” - Patience, for the rest of the day. Little did we know how soon the practical application of this virtue would be tested! The street where the Luceros live is a dirt road and it was flooded. Most of the participants had parked their cars in an adjacent property. As a result of the rain their cars’ wheels were sunk in the mud, so all of them joined together and diligently, painstakingly spent two hours moving all their cars to the street. It was a magical time for them to do this together. They were laughing and joking because it was their first opportunity to really practice patience.
Over a period of many years I have offered and received attunements, attended Attunement classes, teacher trainings and Guild gatherings, and maintained connections with Attunement servers around the world. This special gift of Attunement has been like a precious ribbon weaving through and around me, affecting a multitude of people and situations through the years.
We are at a point of reviewing our accomplishments and perceiving what is next for the Guild. In the context of love and passion for Attunement, let us feel our way into the next phase with honesty and compassion. As stated in the previous correspondence, we have fulfilled our original mission of creating guidelines for education, certification and ethics, providing a space in which people interested in Attunement can connect, collaborate, practice and learn. There are changes happening now, both in the organization and individually for some of us. Some of these changes are internal and some are external. One external change is that a new Attunement School is being created at Sunrise Ranch in Colorado. Another possible change that has been suggested is the establishment of regional Attunement Guilds as certifying bodies for Practitioners.
